Sesto Giovanni Castagnoli
President

Entrepreneur, development consultant and spiritual bridgebuilder, he sees himself today as an evolutant. But his life has been far beyond being a one way street. Following his commercial education and seven years in management positions of trading and production companies, Sesto Castagnoli started his own production and trading company network.

Always keen on unifying people and cultures, he created and ran several development organizations and trading networks in West Africa in the last two decades. It was during these years of cultural and continental bridge building, that Sesto's deep longing for a world of peace, economic equilibrium and spiritual unity evolved. The World Spirit Forum (WSF) is the reflection of this vision. Sesto's passion for realizing his vision is the driving force behind and within the World Spirit Forum.

Peter Grieder
Member of the
Board
Peter Grieder was born 1928 into a Swiss family well known for its third generation fashion house, over which he presided for thirty years. Early in his youth, he became deeply fascinated with Eastern philosophies. This eventually led him to travel extensively into the hidden countries of the Himalayas. Finally, he became Curator of the Tibetan Monastic Institute in Rikon, Switzerland. In addition to being a regular lecturer at the C. G. Jung-Institute for Eastern wisdom teachings, he was for many years a renowned guest speaker for Tibetan Buddhisme at various universities in Europe. Peter Grieder and his wife Marina Gschwind have six children, one of whom is a Tibetan foster son.

Reinhard Gschwandtner
Vicepresident
Human resources manager and social scientist. In the midst of a fast moving and bright senior management career, Reinhard Gschwandtner answered the call of his soul during a somehow unplanned sabbatical in his mid forties. Joining the WSF World Spirt Forum he is taking initiative in matching his organizational, management and coaching talents with “singing his soul’s melody”. Being authentic and living a life of integrity are fundamental not only to his daily life but to his contribution to the WSF.

Gabriele Castagnoli
WSF Core Team
is living in Switzerland since 2006. Eventhough born in Elmshorn, Germany in 1965 she has the Austrian citizenship. During her Life and Business Experience man and its development potential came more and more into her private and professional focus. Work not being separated from Life is most meaningful to her.
Inspiration for this path for example were: Practising Naikan a japanese introspective method, a further study of SocialCompetence or a research project about the Process of Dialogue in Organisations.

Her know-how from Graphic Design to Marketing Communication she gained in various institutions and trades. 2005 she started working as free Consultant with „soulmarketing“. Gabriele Castagnoli is responsible for the strategic alignment of the WSF World Spirit Forum together with her husband Sesto G. Castagnoli. „I am grateful to be able to help shape such a Project of Mankind like the WSF. Its a great challenge for me to atune my personal evolution with regard to a collective Change of Consciousness.

Stefan Keller
WSF Team
born
1963 in Zurich is skilled in expressive therapie, marketing and publishing. He has been working in the fields of communication, education, culture, economics and politics. The father of two sons aged 20 and 16 mainly acts as fascilitator for learning, editor, project planner and politician now.

Based on his holografic worldview, where different worlds simultaneously exist on different bands of frequencies and dimensions, he sees his life task in building bridges between this different realities.

He is engaged in projects, which pursue cross-frontier and interdiciplinary problems, for example as initiator of the Jewish Culture Weeks Aargau, as VCS (Traffic Club Switzerland) President of the settlement Aargau, as co-initiator of the series of lectures "Humans and Music" (University of Applied Sciences North West Switzerland) and as Member of the European Academy of Healing Arts.

Though the change of global consciuosness has been transformed yet on the ethereal sphere, Stefan Keller likes to contribute to the challenge of the material implementation at the WSF World Spirit Forum.

WSF Team

The 46 years old, studied Lutheran Theology in
Hamburg after the high school diploma. In his early twenties he was five years of novice of a Christian brotherhood in Ratzeburg in Northern Germany. At this time, he completed a mason-apprenticeship, to which he connected an architecture-study. After jobs in the construction-industry he shifted into various management jobs in supply-industry, in which he was over fifteen years active with leading functions either in Central Europe as in Ireland and the UK.

In 2005 he took over a seminar house in Lauenburg, close to
Hamburg. His efforts are focused on the issue of tension between spiritual values and professional tasks. He is running a network of businesspeople, so called “province”, looking for profound sources of human creativity.

For Michael Schneider "the WSF World Spirit Forum is an inspirational platform for the mutual contemplation, where we can feel out, what holds the world together at heart. And therefore it is an enormous vital component for the reorientation of persons and society in the change taking place globally.“

Dr. Thomas Steininger
WSF Team

received his doctorate in Philosophy from the University of Vienna. His thesis on consciousness and social evolution used Ken Wilber's integral theory as its foundation. As a producer for Austrian National Public Radio, he developed programming on consciousness and spiritual practices to bring awareness of our evolutionary potential to a large popular audience. His journalism career spans two decades, beginning as a contributing editor to several German spiritual magazines and for the past four years as the managing editor of What Is Enlightenment's German-language edition.

He leads the Frankfurt Center of EnlightenNext, an international nonprofitorganisation supporting the work of the American philosopher and spiritual visionary Andrew Cohen. In Connecticut / USA he is teaching on the Graduate Institute in Milford a Masters Degree course in conscious evolution.

The idea of the WSF intrigued Tom Steininger from the beginning: „The world needs this venue for a global spiritual dialogue“.

 Dr. Christoph Quarch
WSF Team

is doctor of Philosophy and chief-editor of the church-related Publik-Forum Magazine. After a period of scientific work on ancient greek philosophy he became editor of the monthly magazine “Evangelische Kommentare” and afterwards Academic Director of the German Protestant Kirchentag in Fulda. There he runs since 2001 a Philosophic Café and a programme of courses and workshop both on philosophy and spirituality. Furthermore he is initiator and founder of the Spiritual Summer Academy in Hombroich and Ambassador of the World Wisdom Council.

Within the last ten years Quarch published several books on philosophical and spiritual items, some of them in collaboration with Willigis Jäger. Actually he lives with his wife Christine Teufel and his two children Immanuel and Martha in Fulda.

His Credo about the WSF: For me the WSF World Spirit Forum is the place, where - paralell to the WEF World Economic Forum - the spiritual forward thinkers can collaborate off the records as well on a Spiritual Globalisation as on the Spiritual Climate Change.
