| | Archives Forum 2005:
The program 2005 offers again a number of interesting lectures,
workshops, round table and podium discussions and
new "Open Space"-events - with internationally renowned, spiritually
oriented leaders from the various fields of science, economy, religion,
culture, politics, society or sports. Organisations will have more
room to present their matters of concern to a broader public.
The podium debates:
- Spirituality: „What on Earth is
Spirituality?" - There are and have been millions of definitions of what
spirituality means, each interpretation being unique. Can and should we put a
meaning on spirituality?
- Religion & Sciences: „No Guru, no
Method, no Teacher!" - Leaders from religions and sciences will discuss
this contraversial subject.
- Media: „Peacemakers or Firemakers?" -
The media on the hot chair.
- Business & Politics: „Lead from your
heart" - Business and political leaders in search for a new paradigm.
- Applied Spirituality: „WellBeing - What it
means to each person and how can one be well?" - Psychologists,
psychiatrists and spiritual healers provide an insight their daily work.
- Youth: „The Future is (Y)ours!" -
Young men and women from around the world merging wisdom with their ideas and
passion.

Heart - United Responsibility'. Let yourself be inspired!
- The Workshops
The workshops offer the
opportunity to further explore presentation topics, learn something
new, and prompting the opportunity to enforce and establish a new
thought process. Various topics and themes are open for discussion.
- The Round Table Discussions
You are
meeting our keynote speakers in a small group for questions and
discussion. The Round Table discussions were a highlight at the 1st WSF
World Spirit Forum.
- The Plenum Discussions
Speakers discuss their pro and contra views on specific topics.
- The Plenary Debates
Thankfully, not everyone has the same opinion. For many, an open discussion is the best catalyst for new thinking...
- New: "Open Space - Spirit in Process"
Open Space as a meeting form was conceived in the USA in the eighties
and has since become a standard ingredient of many conferences
worldwide. Credit for its success goes to Harrison Owen. With a minimum
of formal structure and a maximum of personal responsibility Open Space
offers participants the possibility to assume leadership for
topics of their choice and cultivate their development. It works on
four simple principles :
• Whoever comes are the right people
• Whatever happens is the only thing that can happen
• Whenever it starts is the right time
• When it’s over, it’s over
“Open Space - Spirit in Process” will provide a seedbed for practical
action related to topics most passionately calling for attention
during the conference. A short guided introduction will set the
framework for this “action marketplace”, followed by multiple and
simultaneous workshops on participant-chosen topics. These work- or
playshops are clearly marked on a central schedule which remains open
for adaptation during the entire session. People are not only permitted
but encouraged to move between the many offerings. In a plenary review
after a night’s sleep, participants will have the opportunity the next
morning to communicate on concrete outcomes of the session, share
experiences and anything else necessary to round off this part of the
conference.
- Networking
In parallel to the official
activities, there is enough time scheduled in the breaks to build your
network, meet colleagues, form plans and just discuss your individual
topics with our speakers.
Body, Spirit and Soul in Harmony This year
we have taken special efforts to give attention to the balance between
body, spirit and soul. In parallel to the program, The WSF World Spirit
Forum offers you an entire program of activities:
- Relaxation / Movement
Guided meditation, yoga
or relaxing 20-minute-breaks in specially designed regeneration rooms
and much more awaits you during your stay. The Arosa winter wonderland
will do the rest to make you feel relaxed and comfortable.
- Culinary
Whether at our evening events, at
lunch or in the coffee breaks - your culinary needs are in good
hands. Let yourself be spoiled!
